The National Breastfeeding Week will run on 24th - 30th June 2012.

Run by two NCT breastfeeding counsellors. We will be serving tea/coffee and tray bakes in a relaxed environment. We also have a toddler corner. Everyone welcome!!

Keep Britain Breastfeeding - Online Scavenger Hunt 2012

The goal of the Keep Britain Breastfeeding Scavenger Hunt 2012 is to add a little bit of fun and to raise awareness of breastfeeding. Many women do not reach their breastfeeding goals, stopping much earlier than they intended to.  During the Month of June bloggers and companies that support breastfeeding (and have something to say about it) will be sharing their views, experiences and knowledge with you so that you can make an informed choice about your very own breastfeeding journey and perhaps give you the confidence and information you need to achieve yours and your baby´s breastfeeding goals.

Each week our bloggers will be writing articles and posts around around a different theme.

Week 1 - The Benefits of Breastfeeding
Week 2 - Mum to Mum Sharing
Week 3 - Breastfeeding Support
Week 4 - Breastfeeding Beyond the First Month

You will hear from a large collection of Mums and family members as well as companies sharing their experiences around these four themes, and we ask that you take a few minutes each day to read the articles and share them with your friends so that you can learn something new, share a top tip by commenting on the articles and be entered to win the amazing Grand Prize!

All you need to do is subscribe to this blog so that you can receive updates about the Hunt and information on where to find the newest articles and posts. As soon as bloggers and companies get onboard their information will be published on the blog so that you can see who's taking part and go along to read their past posts and learn about how they support breastfeeding through products or charitable work.

Prestatyn - Denbighshire

We are having the official launch of our new mum and baby/toddler group called Little Suckers Breastfeeding Friends on:

Date: Sunday 24th June

Time: 10am - 12pm.

Place: Prestatyn Youth Centre, Dawson Drive, Prestatyn, Denbighshire LL19 8SY.

There will be tea, coffee and cake, and lots to keep little ones entertained. After the launch the group will take place on the first Saturday of every month, and we would love to see as many pro-breastfeeding mummies and little ones as possible.
