Expressing and Storing Breastmilk
There are many reasons why a mother decides to express her milk: the baby is premature and unable to suck, the mother or the baby are hospitalised, the mother is going back to work/college, the mother may need to leave her baby with someone else for a period of time, because her breasts feel uncomfortably full.
This booklet is an excellent guide to all aspects of expressing and storing breastmilk. It includes information on how to hand express, types of breast pumps, preparing and cleaning equipment and collecting, warming and feeding expressed breast milk.
